Shannon, I have no secret. For the first 6 weeks, it's just torture. It's true. During that time the best way (for me) to minimize the struggle is to wake up the baby during the day every 2-3 hours to nurse. I did this and by 6 weeks both kids were sleeping for good long chunks at night. (Like from 10-3, then 3-7 or so) But I don't really feed on much of a schedule now, so?? No secrets. Best wishes to you, friend! The joys more than make up for the lack of sleep, thankfully!

This isn't fair. Perfect Anna (almost 4 mo.) has been up once or twice a night for the past week! What's up with that?
What a blessing.
Lucky you! Marcus still gets up twice a night and he's 6 months old! Oh well, he is a healthy and happy little guy so I don't really mind:).
You're a very blessed Mama! Yeah!
I'm so NOT looking forward to the lack of sleep that is on the horizon. What's your secret?!
