Cutting Back

Over the past week, my blog reader has notified me of over 300 blog posts that I "need" to read. I cut my subscriptions by half, and still have quite a few to read. I have problems letting go.

Yesterday was great, thank you all for your prayers! I actually got a whole hour's worth of napping in. That is a luxury around here and at any house with a toddler, I am sure. I'm desperately trying not to overdo it, but as you know it is awfully hard. I'm praising the Lord for friends who are bringing meals over this week. What a blessing!!

Aaron decided this would be a good week to cut some two-year-old molars, so today is going to be the first time we venture out of the house as we need to go on a Motrin run. I'm sure someday I'll look back and laugh...

What adventures does this week have in store for you?

so cute! I had to laugh b/c I have been cutting down my updates on my google reader just this week also.

Praise the Lord for meals! I benefited from that for a couple weeks every other day and that was a huge help to us also.

Hi Jenny! Our biggest adventure would be hauling the 5 kids up north to the in-laws for a two night stay (we just got back). 4 of them sleeping in one bedroom- oh my. And they all did really great, I can't believe it! I guess that would be my works of God Monday. :)

I love Aaron in the car seat, that's what Abby does, too.

Hi Jenny,
I have stopped by your blog, but haven't said congratulations yet! Your new little one is precious, and I am so glad that you experienced the birth that you longed for! May God give you grace and REST! (having just been through your stage myself...:)

Congrats, Jenny! Both on your sweet little bundle and the "mode of delivery" with which he came. I'm so happy for you both.

Love the new pics! I'm so glad you had a good day yesterday. Thank the Lord for answered prayers! I hope Aaron's teeth are not giving him too much trouble, or that the Motrin helps him. Tell him we pray his mouth feels better. :-)

Teething woes are the pits:(. Thankfully, they do not seem to last too long.

Our adventure includes a trip to PA with two little ones. At the moment, I'm taking a much needed break from packing and cleaning. It should be an interesting 8 hours tomorrow:).

OooOOteeth probs :( ouch.....

well naps are always wonderful. Ive been wondering how your potty tarining went with Aaron... What did you think of the diaper free by age three book..... update?

Rachel,
The potty training didn't happen, I did not get with the program early enough and Aaron is just now becoming aware of when he's going potty, so it's not anywhere near diaper free at our house. :-) He's not afraid to go in the potty, though, and occasionally will go, so that is a big part of the battle!
