Works of God Monday

I am fighting a nasty round of mastitis, feeling a whole lot like I've got the flu, so my Work of God Monday consists of the fact that Michael can be home to take care of us all.

What has God done in your family this week?

In the Mister Linky widget below, simply type your name in the top box, or a short description of the work that God has done, and then in the second box, paste the link from your specific "Works of God Monday" post. Feel free to use the image from the top of this post if you like.

I'll be praying for you. I have yet to experience mastitis but I've heard that it's awful. I hope that you are getting your much needed rest.

Oooh, yuck. I can sympathize, Jenny.
Have Michael go get you some nice smelly cabbage leaves and a warm compress!
Praying that your symptoms subside soon!

Oh Jenny, I'll be praying for you. I had mastitis in December and it was not fun. Mine passed fairly quickly...I'd give you my two cents of advise but I'm sure you've checked out Kelly mom already. =)

Oh I'm so sorry. A plugged duct is bad enough, but mastitis is the worst! I'll pray for you.

Hope you are already feeling better. I am praying for you! It was great to talk with you earlier this evening.

Thanks, everyone. I'm the first one to jump on the natural remedies, but this one required an antibiotic. It. Was. Bad. I'm feeling much better today (Tuesday) after a few days of the antibiotic. I'm VERY thankful for modern medicine at times like this.

OK, so I feel dumb because I had to google mastitis. Now that I have, I feel REALLY bad for you, Jenny. I wish you could see the look on my face right now. That sounds Un.Pleasant. I'm glad you're feeling better, and I hope you heal completely quickly and never experience that again!

Love you, and I miss you too!

Ruth, don't feel dumb. I was purposely vague for the sake of my male readers (all of whom have my apologies at this juncture. SORRY!)

Oh girl I'm so sorry. I dread the thought of experiencing that. Do you have an idea of why you got it? I sat in a breast feeding class before Jonas and they said there were reasons you could get it etc...I hope you are doing much better and the infection goes quickly. I do know they say, KEEP Nursing through it all! I hope you can endure.
