keeping up
Last week, Katie drew my attention to the new White House Blog. Today's post caught my eye. I agree that we need to be responsible for our choices when it comes to the environment, but is this a federal guideline issue? What do you think?
Carmen sent me this blog site too. I'm glad to have it so I'm more informed. Eric came home and said that 50,000 people lost their jobs yesterday, that's the size of our town. Today they will be going to the unemployment office to collect unemployment benefits and seeking out hard to find new jobs. I don't know what to think about the federal guidelines. California is a state that runs by cars. They don't have a subways and train systems like the east coast. The pollution there is great. The regulations there are great and business can't even begin to function there. So they go places where they can afford to function. I have a difficult time trusting the government when they have mismanaged funds in the past. Something has to be done, but what?
