When you get to the end of the cereal box and there is slightly more cereal than you planned on pouring in your bowl, what do you do? Eat a little more or leave less than a serving in the bottom for the next unfortunate soul?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Depending on the cereal and how it would taste, I save it in another baggie and continue to mix it with other cereals as a snack for Caleb. I'll also save the last few raisins and other snack-like items to turn into trail mix "meatloaf".
ummm probably eat less...but that wasn't an option? so I'd probably leave a portion in the bottom.
Leave the little in the bottom--then use it when I open the next box, mixing the two types. Usually tastes just fine!
Hmmm...I guess I'm the little oinker - eat a little more! But cereal is one of my most very favorite foods & that is my justification ;-) What do YOU do, Jenny?
I agree with Ruth - save the rest in a little baggie and use it as a snack for Eli. I've done that countless times - it's great to throw in the diaper bag for a treat on the go!
Go ahead and dump the extra little bit in my bowl... Life here is short, enjoy every crumb :)
Probably eat it, of course my justification is that I rarely eat cereal alone so I would spread a little extra into the other bowl. The only exception is if we have more of the same and then I would save it since we could finish it off and open a new one. . .
I do what your parents do I mix what's left with the next cereal. It doesn't matter to me if it is different it's sort of like granola a combo of things.
I do confess I have eaten more and I also have poured what is left on top of yogurt and I have added it to meatloaf.
Uh, I eat a little more. Mary Ann, you are not the only oinker! :)
I either eat it or put it in a zip lock snack bag for Jonas for a later time. :-)
These are such interesting answers. I do a variety, depending on how hungry I am, but I'd never thought about saving it in a snack bag! DUH. I will hit myself on the head and do that next time.
polish it off, for sure!
I usually polish it off (even if it means getting a bigger bowl :) - that is of course unless it is the last of Tim's favorite cereal. Then I try to eat less myself to leave him a full serving.
it it was the sweet marshmallow cereal, id eat more, if it was something like Kashi crunch.. Id eat less... shame on me!
Either go ahead and eat it - especially if it is one of my favorite cereals - or put it in a baggie to use as a kid snack for when we are out and about.
But, come to think of it, a box of cereal doesn't last very long in our cupboard.
