Works of God Monday

This weekend, we began the prep work for our siding project. My fabulous parents came over all day Saturday and helped, for which we are incredibly grateful. Aaron especially enjoyed spending lots of time blowing bubbles with grandma in the front yard while we all sorted and re-assembled the garage.

The big praise is that every step of the project was faster and more inexpensive than we originally thought. Those of you who have ever been involved in any sort of home improvement project know that this is very seldom the case. Praise the Lord for allowing us (ok, dad and Michael) to get so much done and at a relatively minor cost to us for this first stage of reconstruction! You can see photos here.

Also this week we had been having problems with our shower (not the tub part, just the shower) causing water to leak out of our wall (!!!), so dad and Michael took a look at that as well and it ended up that some little part needed to be tightened - no welding involved! Another amazing blessing - and am I ever glad to be able to use the shower again!

So now it's your turn!! First, blog about how God has been at work in your life this past week - it can be a physical provision, a spiritual lesson learned, an opportunity to share with others, anything that was an evidence of God at work in you. Then, follow these directions:

In the Mister Linky widget below,
simply type your name in the top box, or a short description of the work that God has done, and then in the second box, paste the link from your specific "Works of God Monday" post. PLEASE make sure the link is to a specific post on your blog that is a personal testimony of how God has been at work in your life in the past week. Feel free to use the image from the top of this post if you like. Just right click the image and choose "save image as" then upload it into your post. Please contact me if you have any questions, and spread the word to your blogging friends!

If you don't have a blog, please feel free to leave your works of God testimony in the comment section!!

Hi Jenny,
So glad to hear your project is going so well and below cost that was expected.
I know you are loving the help your folks are giving.

Hi Jenny,
I came here from a hint of home. God has done so many things in my life. This is a good idea you had. It is similar to a new blog Ginger of Enchanting Cottage and I are just starting called Spiritual Sundays.
I'll have to keep your Works of God in mind for next Monday. I hope you will visit our new blog and think about participating. The link is on my blog.
Blessings,
Charlotte
