Laundry mountain, much?

Keepin' it real, people.

This is what else I'm doing today, besides canning beans. Thankfully Aaron has been a BIG helper this morning, and Evan took a big long nap.

My naptime challenge is to FOLD these clean clothes,

the ones that have been sitting there far too long.

like, maybe 27 days.

or shorter. I'll never tell.

To be fair, a lot of it is winter bedding, bedding from our extra (now disassembled) crib, some towels. Which means it will fold fast but put away slow.

And, here's more real embarrassment. I have folded and put away 2 baskets full already today. There are more loads to wash. Those loads will not fold themselves.

goodbye.

We're the same with our laundry mountains but we usually wait until it's unbearable and then Matt and I fold together for 2 hours straight while watching a movie after the kiddos go to bed. My hurdle is actually getting the clean folded clothes put AWAY in the right places. Still have two folded baskets from two nights ago sitting here in my living room.

Good luck with the beans and laundry, ambitious lady!

I could have had the same picture yesterday! How can 4 people make so much laundry? The change of seasons puts out more laundry. . . I figured since so much laundry was already out of my dresser I'd go ahead and clean my dresser out. I got Madeline's summer clothes out too. The sad thing, is that by the end of the day more laundry appeared!

My laundry pile looks like this today as well because I've been doing other jobs. It's just part of life.

A never-ending story, the laundry tale. I've been working on ours tonight. For two people we seem to have a lot. I almost always have regular clothes & running clothes. Mike has regular clothes & his work clothes.
Thanks for keepin' it real! I hope you got all your chores done so you can relax this evening.

Love it! and don't forget..."folding laundry while your kids are still growing, is like shoveling the side walk while it is still snowing!" :)

Laundry is a fact of life. Another fact of life is that there are stages of life. When the children have grown, and the family has decreased to two--or one--, it can be done in two loads, once a week. Is that a happy thought? Yes...and no.
