and it's a hair puller

Just when you have a day you think you can get caught up, well...it doesn't happen. Today is one of those days. Every once in awhile Aaron refuses to nap. I can use up all my disciplinary tactics and none of them result in a sleeping toddler. I know he's tired, he knows he's tired, and the only thing left to do is wait it out.

So I'm waiting. And, from his room, I hear this...

"My gog is...BIG, so srong an so mighty...nossing my gog tannot DOOOOO"

Name that song. Claim that truth.

"nossing" means "nossing" and that includes naptime.

I love overhearing AJ sing the "Bee-Bye-Bee-Belly" song. Can you guess what that one is =)

My day was Monday. I love when Audrey puts songs together Jesus loves me & The B-I-B-L-E.

Shouldn't modern technology be able to come up with a 'Naptime Energy Transfer Unit' to transfer a child's energy to the adult and adult's tiredness to the child ... just for one hour or so? I bet that those NETUs would REALLY sell! :)

I laugh not only because it's adorable and funny, but because I've been there too and have shared in the frustration. I can't promise that it gets any better either. My Aaron stopped taking naps even before Megan was born and I was so frustrated because I knew that I would need them after she got here, but it all seemed to work out. I wish he still took naps, but I guess a 3 1/2 year old thinks he doesn't need them. Just means earlier bedtime! I hope your Aaron doesn't start the no-napping thing too.

How cute. At least he is not pounding or kicking the door asking to get out! :-)
