one small step

It doesn't seem like a big deal to those of you whose kiddos haven't yet begun to walk, but it makes a huge difference to me. This week, Aaron has made the transition from walking as recreational activity (walk, fall down, crawl to desired destination) to walking as primary form of mobility (walk, fall down, get up, walk to desired destination) It is so SO crazy to see all 28 3/4 inches of him teetering about. He's definitely becoming more independent, and he has the bumps and bruises to prove it! He's certainly ALL boy!

Way to go, Aaron! You MUST post a video. I love those toddling bumbling first steps!

How sweet! Go Aaron! Jonas has no desire to take those first steps yet!
And today I just heard of a 19 month old boy who is just now taking his first step. He is a chunk though with lots of extra weight to carry! haha

Wow, Where does time go? I remember finding it hard to believe when Rennah was 1 too. That first year just flies bye with the constant changes and growth in our little bundle. Have fun with this new stage!!=) All to soon it feels like they've been walking all the time.

Audrey too has taken to walking. I am amazed at how many times they fall, and still get back up and try again. . . Good lesson for us. Glad to hear Aaron's check up went so well, at least you can turn his car seat around?? Aaron, like many of Audrey's friends have passed her up in weight and height! At her one year she was 18 lbs. She is just so active little thing these days!
