my new favorite breakfast

1 banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup fresh pineapple
a splash of chosen liquid for consistancy purposes

blend it up, consume. All the fruit I need for a day and Vitamin C galore. I usually eat a little cheese or a handful of raw almonds with this to offset the sugar in the fruit.

Oh, and I've neglected to mention it, but Aaron has cut his first tooth (like a week ago!)

Sounds Delicious!! I forgot to tell you...I just recently tried your pumpkin oatmeal! I printed it off back in the fall from your post & finally used up my last can of pumpkin with this recipe. It was delightfully good!! And perfect for the winter! I'll have to try this breakfast smoothie also! But I might wait till it warms up a bit! Congrats to YOU on Aaron's tooth coming through! Those teeth can me nightmare's on mommy's as well!!! How did he do with it???

I'm so glad you liked the pumpkin oatmeal. I haven't eaten that in awhile for breakfast! Hmmm...

Aaron did great with his tooth, considering what it must feel like! We had a couple fussy nights and 1 2-hour "I can't be comforted" crying session. I think he was quite the champ. I was honestly expecting MUCH worse. I think the next one is coming now. Such an adventure!! (I love it!)

Ooh, that sounds so fruity and summery! I've been craving good old hearty oatmeal or malt-o-meal on these cold winter mornings.

By the way, Chloe LOVES the feature film of Aaron! She just giggles hysterically and says "baby" excitedly. I think we've watched it 4 or 5 times already! I think she's trying to tell me she wants a baby brother.

I didn't realize why Audrey was so fussy until I saw the first tooth. Now she is working on her third tooth (first on the top). I'm beginning to wonder if it is ever going to come through!!

Alicia~not many people have heard of Malt-O-Meal! It was our comfort food growing up, especially when we were sick as kids! I can't find it out here so every time my mom visits, she brings me a stash of it! Mmmmm...now I'm in the mood for some!

Michael introduced me to Malt-O-Meal, and it's been a staple in our house! You should try it with a tablespoon of peanut butter stirred in! YUMMY.
