about that One Link...

I'm sure some of you may wonder what that "FAMily planning" link is doing on this blog. It all started out as a desperate search after 8 miserably ill, newly married months to find a workable non-chemical solution, and turned out to be one of the most enlightening reads of my life. It's definitely caused us to see more clearly how amazing our God is in the way He created us and how much He has allowed us to know by observance.

I've been telling all my married friends at church. I feel like I've been given the gift of knowledge, and because I am the teacher that I am, I HAVE to share it!!! It's a great "it's not long til you get married, check this out" gift, and a great read for any married couple.

Jenny,
congrats on your soon to be motherhood! I was going to suggest's Weschler's book to you, but then I checked out the link and realized it was that exact link. Well, I second your motion and highly suggest that women become more informed about their bodies. It really is amazing the way God has designed us. Welcome to the blogging world as well. Sounds like a great book! Since we are NOT eager to have another child for a while I think I'll pass on this for now . . .

This is a book on natural means for NOT getting pregnant also, right?

YES! The knowledge of your body and how it functions can be used either for pregnancy avoidance or achievement. Many are skeptical, but it definitely worked for us! We've been married for 2 years, and were only using pills for 5 or so months. It is a great way to go!!! (and talk about saving money...the book costs $25 new, about the same or less as a month's supply of pills. And if you get it on ebay or another online retailer, even cheaper) Plus, when you're ready to have another baby, you know when your chances are the best. READ IT!! Check at the library!
