they just keep coming

Talk about Works of God Mondays...

This Monday and Tuesday, Michael & Ken will be getting paid to work on our house. All day. You think we might be able to get the drywall completed? We will certainly be a lot closer than before!!

Is this not amazing? Do we serve an incredible God or what? I can see why people lift "holy hallelujah hands." But I am a Baptist Girl with many inhibitions (LOL), so it is the hands of my heart that are fully extended as I rejoice in the goodness of my God, who is good ALL the time!

EDIT NOTE: Quite by "accident" I found some articles written by Josh Larsen on this very topic which I found pretty interesting. See Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.

WOW! How did they manage to get paid for working on your home?!? That is awesome! Praise God - He certainly likes to surprise us with His goodness.

We have visited several churches where some participants raise their hands in worship. It used to annoy me but now I don't notice it. Just takes some getting used to.

Go ahead, Jenny, raise those hands! It is refreshing to hear how God is providing for you and your family.

Just because it isn't Baptistic doesn't mean it's not Biblical. :) Go ahead and raise your hands! What a great encouragement you have been with your testimonies of His goodness. Thank you.
Psalm 63:3-5
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.
