Here we are after Saturday's shower in front of our van full of shower gifts. We were the recipients of a multitude of items bought with Little Muth in mind. It's amazing to think we need all this stuff for such a little person. Praise God for His provision through His people!

Here's my funny man, blowing out crazy candles on a mom-made birthday cake. Emma & Olivia are looking on, and Matt & Mark are in the background. Mom invited some friends to celebrate Michael's birthday with us after church! (these are their kids...lest you think this is an appropriate age group for us to fellowship with)

Hope you enjoy putting all those fun contraptions together!! Our shower was May 19th and most the stuff is still sitting in boxes and bags, etc. I am trying to plow through the thank you cards before we play with all the toys! I agree who knew a little person could use so many things! My favorite, is all the advice of "You just have to have a _______" Lots of fun!

Wow, looks like you got lots of good stuff at your shower. I love your dress! Have fun putting it all in baby Muth's room. I am sure that made is seem a little bit more realistic!

We did get lots of stuff! Trisha, I can identify with you about TY cards...I have only written them for the items we got BEFORE the shower. This week has been crazy.

Kelli, Baby Muth doesn't have a room yet! :-) Right now we've got stuff in stack and I went and bought some tubs last night. Hopefully this weekend we will finish the walls on the baby's room, but there are still so many steps left!! I think when I am done working it will definitely become more realistic! (and hopefully this little one will stay put until at least the due date!)

Jenny,

I think the real cuties in the picture are the little guys behind your husband. Of course, I'm a little biased since they are my nephews. :)

Congrats on the great baby shower. Wish I could have been there.

Sandra, I wish you could have been here, too! Glad you're coming in a few weeks! I'll be HUGE by then!!!

Jenny, that's a super cute blue and green dress! I really like it!

Thanks, Katie! I bought it on clearance last year when I'd just found out I was pregnant! I had no idea how huge I would get, so I bought a bigger size than usual...we had to alter it majorly. But it was a good deal, and it's tons of fun to wear! Thanks for the compliment!

Jenny, you look so cute, and I love your dress, too! Aren't showers so much fun? :)

I have loved reading through your blog and seeing all the ways God has provided for you and your house, and now the baby. We have seen Him provide for us in similar ways through our house-building experience and also for our baby needs. Just today I received a box of girl clothes from someone whom I don't even know in "real life"--a blog reader who had these clothes given to her, but she couldn't use them because she's having a boy! Then also today I got a call from a girl at church who works for a daycare, and one of the kids' moms had just given them 2 bags of girl clothes to give away--she said half of them still have the tags on! The stuff is from newborn to 12 mos. And another friend brought over 2 totes full of clothes that we can borrow. Julia will never be able to wear it all! God provides over and above what we need!!

Sorry to make this so long, but I just wanted to share our blessings. :)

Woo-hoo! Isn't it fun to get baby stuff! I thought we wouldn't need all the gifts we received but we used almost everything. Good luck on the thank you cards. Mine took forever since I wrote something personal on each card. Btw, you look just lovely and glowing. :)

Woohoo! Emma and Olivia made the Muth blog! Ha ha I agree with calling them cuties, but then again, I am a bit biased. :-) What an encouragement again to read through your blog and praise our wonderful God with you guys. He is always good, and I love how you point us to Him in every aspect of your life. Thanks, friend!
