Aaron's "Violin" Concert

Here we have an impromptu concert. Aaron pretty much loves to sing, and is creative enough to turn a hairbrush and a drinking straw into an instrument. Ah, imagination. The WD-40 of childhood.

Yes, his bedroom is cluttered. He's two. And yes, he put on his own socks, and I think it's funny, so I let him. We stay home a lot.

Jenny, That is SO precious! He sings very well! Silas still doesn't get all the words in there. He's usually too busy playing his instrument, which is most often a guitar. :) I liked Aaron's violin very much. I love the bowing at the end too! It reminded me a little of the end of the Sound of Music when the fraulein kept bowing and they had to escort her off stage. :)
He is so cute. Thanks for sharing this!

You MUST get this child a violin!

My favorite part is when he pokes himself in the eye with his bow. Very much like me in my one semester of strings.

Jenny - your laugh is so contagious! I don't know if I laughed more at watching Aaron or listening to you:). This was fun to watch and Aaron is a very good little musician:).

Oh, Jenny, if he's not going to play the violin some day you can call me a horned toad. :) What got me was not just that he concocted a violin out of those two things, but that he was moving back his "bow" in rhythm to his song most of the time. And THEN those bows - just like the lady on the Sound of Music!!!! :)
