On Monday, I made this (Boeuf Bourguignon) and decided that mushrooms are not, as earlier suspected, evil. They are just "tolerable" but the rest of this was to die for. YUM. |
On Tuesday, I finished this quirky fellow |
along with some other projects, so now my kitchen table looks like this. |
Tuesday, I made more of a dinner mess (but I am in the middle of cleaning it up) |
there is no excuse for my island to look like this. a little too much fun and not enough work I suspect. |
I have stuff on chairs that doesn't belong |
my laundry is piled up (clean, but piled up) |
and I haven't done my hair. |

You are so adorable, Jenny! Look at all the wonderful things you did this week, and after all your hard work and effort today, your house will be gleaming tomorrow! You are such a good wife and mom!
Miriam, I can't remember the last time my house "gleamed" but maybe by this afternoon we'll see some surfaces around here. ;-) I'm pretty much a B- housekeeper.
Cleaning your house while the kids are still growing is like shoveling the walk while it is still snowing - and seriously, hair doesn't matter ;) We are in the 'enjoying' kids stage....the clean, organized house stage, and the hair-do stage will be upon us soon enough! Thanks for taking photos of my sentiments exactly! - Love to you and yours from COLORADO!
Yep, my house was pretty messy when the kids were small. Trouble is, now that our kids are all grown up, the house still gets that way. Hmm. . wonder if its because I'm the messer upper! Ha
Love, Mom Muth
