Sometimes when I get the "AFA action alerts" in my email, I'm very glad to be informed. Other times, I just roll my eyes. Today, I got one about Subway's essay contest and it was one of the latter type of reactions. Then I read this. My thoughts, exactly. But more eloquent. And from the voice of experience, so even better.
What are your thoughts?

I got the same email today and hadn't really figured out what I thought about it, other than that I didn't think it was all that big of a deal if they didn't include homeschoolers. (After all, there are probably plenty of contests from homeschool friendly organizations that exclude private and public school students.) And I thought the misspellings were hilarious (the UNTIED States! :D)
Anyway, after reading Amy's post, I think she hit the nail on the head. Thanks for sharing!
I agree with Amy's post. If you don't like it, don't buy from Subway.
I also agree that the business is privately owned and can choose the parameters for their contest.
